About the 1st Center
The 1st center of unmanned aerial systems
is a formation of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

We are the ones who toss the war over to enemy territory. We are destroying russian military-industrial complex, oil industry and logistics facilities. We cut the economic artery of the aggressor. We deprive the enemy of the opportunity to conduct combat operations now and attack us in the future.
1st Separate USC is about strategic impact, systematic approach and compelling arguments.

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

A veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian war since 2014. Withstood the Battle of Donetsk airport, fighting as part of the 3rd Regiment of SOF.

Full knight of the Order of Bogdan Khmelnytskyi. Awarded the honorary “Silver Cross” badge and the badge “For Military Valor”.

Became the commander of the 1st Separate UAS Center (then-14th UAS Regiment) in August 2023 after completing the selection stage and interviews with the Deputies to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Having mastered the small unit tactic perfectly since the time of service in the Special Operation Forces, “Ali” and the squad management are already implementing this experience in the 1st Separate UAS Center with a new generation of warriors and new technologies.

The interview

The interview takes place online, and together we will choose a position for you, taking into consideration your desires, experience, and skills. Our experienced recruiters will help you and answer all your questions.

An appeal for mobilization to our military unit

Our unit has been identified by the General Staff as a priority unit. This means that we can immediately enlist you. To do that, we inform the regional recruitment center that we plan to mobilize you directly to our unit.

Passing the medical examination

We prepare and send a referral for the PME (preliminary medical examination) to the TRC (territorial recruitment center) at the place of your registration. Remember, we are always in touch, ready to advise and help you.

Joining the unit

After completing the preliminary medical examination, you will have time to finalize some civilian matters and fully commit to your military service. You are already our recruit, but there is a lot of training ahead. From our unit, you will proceed on a 50-day basic training program. If you have an officer’s rank, the procedure will be slightly different: you will attend an officer’s course at one of the Higher Military Educational Institutions, which will last 30 days.

What is the location of the center and where will I be deployed?

Our center’s permanent location is in the Dnipro region. For security reasons, the soldiers of the 1st Center live remotely within the city of Dnipro or near it. Therefore, service in the center for engineering and technical units, support units, and combat units at the stages of preparation for combat missions or recovery takes place around Dnipro city.

How long does it take for a recruit to be officially enrolled in a military unit?

Enrollment to our military unit through the recruitment process is carried out at the end of each month, so the question of how long this process will take for you is rather individual. On average, a recruit’s path from the moment of filling out a questionnaire and interviewing with our HR specialists to official enrollment takes from one to one and a half months.

Your personal information is kept confidential in our unit. We do not share this information with anyone without your prior consent.

What kind of financial support will I receive in the 1st Center?

Our center is in the reserve of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This means that in addition to the regular allowance (from UAH 20 000 per month), all soldiers of the regiment will receive an additional remuneration of UAH 30 000 per month.
When performing combat missions, the center’s soldiers can receive additional remuneration – the so-called combat allowance – of up to UAH 100,000 per month. Therefore, a soldier of the center receives from UAH 50 000 to 120 000 per month.

The 1st Separate UAS Center performs special combat missions across the entire front line and therefore needs specialists with specific skills and mindset for specific positions.
The biggest guarantee of your getting into the desired position is that we are interested in the effective fulfillment of all our tasks and see no point in deceiving people.
